Rune Boutique at Royal/T

The holidays has been going well and this post is quite late but it's better late than never! I've been either eating, sleeping, inebriated, or at work this past couple weeks. It's been really fun that I haven't been able to come up with a decent post.

The Rune Boutique World Debut was held in Royal T on December 9, 2011.  I headed to Royal T after work, but I lagged so much I didn't make it to the VIP private party. Oh well.  (Thanks to Bubble Punch for the VIP pass!)

The event was huge and a long line of people were standing outside Royal T. This event featured the art of Rune Naito, a  fashion show featuring the 6% Doki Doki girls (also other models, including our friend Haylee!)  and a performance by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.

Since it was crazy packed inside, I had to view most of the show through my camera's LCD. HOW FUN. I also exercised my arms that night.  Who needs to lift weights when you have a dslr held up by your arm the whole time?

I went to the mall today because my friend Pia wanted to go to Victoria's Secret wherein she had received an email about a private store event. When we got there, the event was not even private. Seriously, I thought this was exclusive! Instead, they just let anyone in without checking who put in an RSVP or not. They were having a raffle pretty much every 15 minutes until the last prize was a duffel bag filled with $500 worth of VS goodies. I honestly just wanted to win something, anything. I never win in any sweepstakes and I've been signing myself up random stuff online and never win a single thing. Such is my luck.

I did end up making an unnecessary purchase of the VS Party Perfect Makeup Kit. I think it will come handy when I travel. I couldn't pass it up since I had a $10 off coupon. They also gave away a little VS ornament with a V-string inside for every purchase made. They were also giving water bottles that were VS customized to the customers. Cute, but it will just end up in the trash. (^_^)

After waiting (and seriously hoping) for the end of the raffle, me and Pia rushed to Milk and Honey Cafe to have a late dinner and dessert. Milk and Honey Cafe made my night. The server was extra nice to us even when we came in 5 minutes before closing. You check out the special brick toast we got on my food blog.

What I Got In The Mail Today

Thanksgiving holiday made me extremely lazy. I had gotten a lot of rest over the weekend  and met up with some friends. I also went to see Crystal Castles' DJ set at One Eyed Gypsy, a bar in downtown LA. Let's just say I don't even remember a single thing Crystal Castles played that night but it was a really fun and interesting night!
Black Friday came and left. I found myself at the mall but I wasn't up for going crazy with the crowd. I find a lot of my deals online anyways, like what I got in the mail today.

Look what I got in the mail today!
The Dolica ST-500 68" Tripod I got from Amazon! It comes with a 67" monopod and camera bag too but those will be shipped to me when they get back stock. I got it only for a mere $27.

And it's taller than me!!!
